Have you ever heard of baking a cake in a slow-cooker? Lazy or not, this is a great idea if you have a million things to do! And if you use a slow cooker liner, clean up will be easy as pie!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 pkg. Devil’s food cake mix
1 2/3 cups water
1/3 cup canola oil
2 cups cold 2% milk
1 pkg. (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
What to do:
1. Mix the cake batter with water, oil and eggs and whisk until blended then beat for a couple minutes. Transfer to lined crock pot.
2. In another bowl, whisk pudding mix with milk for a couple minutes. Spoon over cake batter and sprincle with chocolate chips.
3. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours and use the toothpick method to determine whether it is cooked. Serve warm.
