5 Halloween Treats for the Young at Heart

The best part of Halloween is getting creative with food if you ask me. Here’s a list of fun recipes for chocolate-lovers that are easy to make and fun to eat.

1. Strawberry Ghosts

I love this recipe because the messier your drips of chocolate are, the more character your ghosts have. It is a fun project to have little helpers for too since being messy is part of the fun.

2. Pumpkin Pretzels

The trick to making these with little accompanying hands, is not to let them eat all the candy as you go along! Messy chocolate projects make Halloween even more fun!

3. Chocolate Apples

These are Jack Skellinton chocolate-covered apples but they would also make great ghost faces. Looks like a fun project to do with the grandkids.

4. Banana Mummies

Not only are these bananas adorable, they are healthier than you average Halloween treat so they’ll be a winner with health nuts and chocolate-lovers. It’s a win-win combination if you ask me.

5. Pumpkin Krispie Treats

These are fun and delicious and kids will have fun getting their hands in the Krispies to make the little pumpkins. Decorating the jack-o-lantern faces will add to the fun too! This chocolate-lover would decorate them with melted chocolate in a piping bag.
